need help

What's this wire for? I bought the bike a week ago and took the headlight off and saw this wire is all burnt up.
It's on a 2011 husky 630.

Looks like the two horn connectors. Do you have a working horn?

Maybe something rubbed it and it shorted out.

Looks like it might be for the horn? Anything not working, like a turn signal or brake light when you grab the front brake?

My guess is that the previous owner dumped it at some point and smashed the horn into the steering neck.

Ya theres no horn ha just called the guy and he said it started smoking so he ripped it out any reason it would all of a sudden burn up ? Thanks for the helps guys !!

Probably pinched the wire and it grounded, figure it would pop a fuse before toasting the wire, though...

Ya that's what I thought ha its burnt about a foot from what I cab see with out unwrapping the wires

FYI the horn is normally attached to the lower triple right behind where your finger tips come together in the picture, and there isn't a horn in the picture there
