    Hi everyone,

I have a 2005 TE510 and I'm wondering what my options are for mounting my street legal license plate. The previous owner mounted the plate under the seat and it was a pain to get off. On my fender I have the running lamps and I'd like to switch to a brake light as well. The lamp has two bulbs. Can one be run to the brake instead? Thanks in advance for your ideas.

I used the DRC Edge 2 on my 510. I didn't like the stock bracket on the 06 510s. I mounted the plate vertical presuming a little less wind drag, but I have had negative comments about it from police (but no tickets). The taillight has a built in tag light, so that is nice. I did have to zip-ty the bottom of the plate down because the wind was flapping it and I was afraid it would break.

I don't remember where I actually bought it, but here it is:

As for the lights, you can probably use the wiring for the existing lamp, but you'll probably need a brake switch on your rear brake. My husband bought one for his KTM...it was around $20.
