I'm running the Tubliss setup on the front and rear of my 250 and the rear on my 510. At the recent Bend PNW gathering I cut my 250's rear Motoz tire on some razor sharp lava rock while running way too low a pressure (5psi) The cut was about 3/8" long and just off the center knobs at the base of a knob. The bead was still secure with the Tubliss system remaining intact and I rode the bike back to the trailhead 3 miles on asphalt at 25mph no problem. LTR (Les) suggested getting the tire patched internally since it was in otherwise great shape. Got the tire patched, re-assembled the system and the Tubliss inner bladder kept leaking down from its 100psi rating. Oops, guess I got a little sloppy with the tire irons and cut it or something. I emailed Jeff at Neutech asking suggestions such as patching the inner bladder tube or just replacing it. He replied promptly requesting my address and whether or not I thought the red line was cut as well. I requested just the tube, which arrived 2 days later, NO CHARGE! I now have a tire system holding pressure again with a no-cost replacement inner bladder. I was expecting to pay for the parts and shipping but instead received a package of free stuff to get me going! Thanks Jeff, I'm passing this forward! Tubliss may not be for everyone, but they do give a shiite about their customers, regardless.
I second that. I had bought a tubliss front for my 360 and when I got it the red inner liner had been folded in shipping. It wouldn't seal properly. I didn't buy the tubliss from tubliss but one of the online stores. I called Tubliss to get a new red inner liner. Jeff was the guy I talked to and he just took my name and address and said he would take care of it and get me a new liner. 3 days later a complete front setup showed up with no bill, just some stickers and a note thanking me for choosing Tubliss.
Thats how you build relationships and new business. Thanks for sharing and thankyou Tubliss. It is great to hear a successful consumer outcome, probably because they are not so common these days.
Here is another person who has had dealings with Jeff. Great guy and is really on top of his game for customer satisfaction. We spoke for 20 minutes on tire development etc.. Very Impressed.
http://tubliss.com/ I'll put a 'er' in the title so people can have a better idea what this thread is about (custom -> customer)
I bought my Tubliss system from BRP. When I pinched the inner bladder putting it on I called for a replacement. It arrived free of charge. The guys at BRP also have great customer support.
My experience with Jeff has also been positive. I sent him an email asking a bunch of curly questions and he responded by asking for a phone number. We talked for an hour or so and I came away with a good amount of info and the impression that here is a guy that is passionate about his product and offers excellent product support. So far my experience with the Tubliss system has been limited, but positive.
