Dear Members of Cafe Husky, I have been hosting an invitational trailride called the Nevada 200 for the last 24 years with my partner Casey Folks of Best in the Desert. It is one of the best trailrides in the country. I would like to extend an invitation to any of the members of Cafe Husky to join us this year. Its not free, but its an amazing ride consisting mostly of high desert single track and woods. It is held in Caliente, Nevada. Its invitation only and the 200 or so riders that come each year have been with us for years. I would like to get as many Husky's out there to join me on the ride as possible. Following is the invitation letter that was sent out on the event: The 2009 Motion Pro Nevada “200” Trailride “25 Years of Blood, Sweat and Trails” Brought to you by Casey Folks and Scot Harden Dear Nevada “200” Trail Ride Enthusiast, December 15th, 2008 How many motorcycling events have reached their Silver Anniversary? Not many! Even fewer can lay claim to being Legendary. How many motorcycle accessory manufacturers have reached their Silver Anniversary? Not many! The Nevada “200” Trailride and Motion Pro are two of a very rare breed. This is your invitation to come celebrate with us the Silver Anniversary of the “Legend” the 25th Annual Motion Pro Nevada “200” Trailride. The ride is April 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2009 in Caliente, Nevada and hosted by Best in the Desert and the Harden Offroad. Because this is the 25th Anniversary we are pulling out all the stops. This year’s ride is challenging, very challenging with long sections of single track and tight sand wash. The C ride has evolved into a very fun ride, with enough short challenging sections to keep it interesting, and its popularity continues to grow. The fun starts Friday (4/3) with a very special 60 mile “A’ ride with two serious mountain pass crossings in the Applewhite Mtns. This ride is single track lover’s delight. The C ride will also be approx 60 miles in length. Following the rides on Friday, Motion Pro will host a Bench Racing Party at the Agua Caliente RV Park. Saturday’s A and C (4/4) ride starts and finishes in Caliente and sees us returning to the Dow Mtns for lunch. The Saturday A ride is 105 miles long and covers the greatest selection of single track we have ever laid out. Trust us when we say, this is the best single track course we have ever designed. Saturday’s ride will also serve as the Poker Run. At the end of Saturday we’ll return to Caliente for our infamous Easter Egg Hunt and Nevada “200” Trailride Awards Party and Roast hosted by Motion Pro. Sunday’s (4/5) A ride is 55 miles long and designed to get us back by 12:00pm so everyone can get an early start on the drive home. As always, the Nevada “200” Trailride will offer a separate ride for the “C’ riders each day, lead by Casey Folks. The Nevada “200” Trailride is proud to have Motion Pro as our title sponsor of the event. Motion Pro is celebrating their 25th Anniversary as well. You can look forward to meeting, and riding with the great management team of Motion Pro. Motion Pro supports the sport like few other after market manufacturers. Look forward to riding with Chris Carter, Brandon Baldwin and the rest of the Motion Pro team. They will be on hand with products and displays. Associate sponsors for the Nevada *200* Trailride include Husqvarna and Smith Goggles Attached is your official entry form, and important information, on the 2008 Motion Pro Nevada “200” Trailride. Thank You for the invite and it is to bad that I will not be able to make it. I wouldn't care about the hotel room,, I would sleep on the ground to be able to be a part of that ride. Thanks again for the invite.
