Just wanted to pop in really quickly and let all you 610/630 riders know that we just introduced some new oil filter covers for your bikes. These have a spring retainer on the inside that holds the filter spring in place during oil changes. Makes life a little easier during oil changes. Thanks.

Are these also available without the 7602 Racing logo?

Ummm, no. All have logo on them.

Yes, stronger than stock. Ours are machined from solid aluminum and stock is cast.

The attraction to these- for me- is that they hold the spring in place making proper replacement/seating more convenient. I'm personally not inclined to spring 40 for the convenience, but still they look good and that convenience is attractive.

Yeah, nice piece, but why the lettering on them? At least put a husky logo on them if nothing at all.

He's the one going the extra mile and making things for our bikes that make our lives easier. I have no problem whatsoever with his logo on the cover.
Lots of aftermarket things on my bikes have the manufacturer's logos on the products; Doesn't bother me :excuseme:

Besides, I think the logo is clean and pleasant to look at, but that's just my opinion...and you know what they say about opinions :D

    Hmmm...that's a logo, eh?
I haven't had any trouble fitting the stock one. They do look nice though, and I have something similar on my KTM, but it doesn't have any writing on it. It's orange!
I just must be out of touch. :D

Well...I'm guessing it's the logo. I just got 4 things from 7602 and that style of writing is on all the packages, so...I dunno... P1020486.JPG

I like their logo...pretty tasteful as logos go. The bike has the Husky logo on it plenty of places, and if you're buying a nice piece, let the mfr'r show where it came from.

sorry man.. but 7602 does not appeal to me.. IMO.. sounds like someones grandmas birthday. im sure its a fine product... alot of small companies start off with ill noticable logos.. when the name catches on the logo becomes bigger

How about 7602 being the elevation of the town the company is in? That's a little more fun :)

La Jara is one tiny little burg too....pass thru there a lot coming back from riding in New Mexico. I never knew there was anyone there making anodized billet bling for bikes until now

I agree. Some of the bikes with the Husky logo and bling w/ Husky logo are a little over the top.
    YMMV.

Lots of times when I see a bike parked somewhere and am looking over the aftermarket goodies, it's nice to be able to identify who makes the product; the rider is not always around to ask.

No free advertising from me. I for one will not consider this piece because of the logo. Why not offer it both ways and let the consumer decide?

When I buy a used bike first thing I do is spend 1-2 hours removing all remnants of stickers past and present. I like a clean, classy look which doesn't include plastering with aftermarket stickers and logo embossed farkles. When I buy a new bike I remove all those pesky warning stickers also.

    Wow, contrasting opinions.

Well I guess I'm not the only one - I don't do free advertising, or surveys for free, and also remove all stickers from pretty much everything. Even took the 'Silverado' emblem off the back of my Duramax. I really don't need to advertise to anyone else that I have a 'Silverado'. It's a freakin' truck for godsakes. The new Cycra handguards got stickers removed, license frames - in the trash, dealer plates - in the trash, warning stickers - in the trash. I don't like riding gear that has all their brand crap all over it. Just plain thank you, and it should at least match or contrast the bike - I won't wear my orange KTM gear on my Husky, and vice versa, so I'm not a complete dode. I am getting old though and that's probably the difference; I came from a time when things were more simple.

I hate pop-up advertising - have left forums for it when they started spamming the members, as did dozens of others. The rest said something like "Oh, we don't mind, just send your garbage. Maybe there's something I want". I employ a Barracuda spam filter at work that filters out 95% of all our mail because it's spam.

I don't give a crap if people can figure out what I've put on my bike or not, it's not there for them. And I don't look over other bikes and try and figure out what they've put on it based on all the brands. Are you kidding me??!!

The oil cover is nice. As mentioned I bought one for my KTM with orange anodizing. It looks great on the bike. It either has a KTM logo on it or it's plain, can't recall. I dunno if the lettering is a deal breaker or not, but as an experienced marketer I would advise a more compelling logo. JMHO.

Maybe that's why I hate advertising on my stuff - I've been in the biz way too long. :oldman:

Wow!! Did this thread go off course. Look guy's this is a product intro, nothing more. Not meant to be a debate on the gradual decline of society or the negative affects that commercialization is having on our nations youth.

It's an oil filter cover... that's it. Meant to make your oil changes a little easier. If us putting our name on our product is that big of a deal then take a sharpie and mark it out, or better yet don't buy one. Everything we buy has the manufacturers name or logo on it. When is the last time anyone bought a pair of nike shoes without a swoosh, or a chevy without the bowtie on the grill, a big mac without the big yellow M or a new husky without the gun sight logo? We make products we are proud of and we put our name on them so we can get a little recognition for our efforts. I can't count the number of times a customer has called and said he saw one of our products on another bike, liked it and lo and behold our name was right there so he could remember when he got home. If none of our stuff had our name on it then we most likely would not still be here, and there would be no product intro at all.

As for the "logo" its self? This is just our name. The actual 7602 logo is much larger, and I felt would get an even colder reception. We have gone through several previous designs and logos on previous products and all the negative nancies came out to protest. So we now use the least obtrusive and least noticeable design possible while still getting our name on our product.
