Picked up a new 630 yesterday, had the power up kit installed before it left the dealer. Got caught in some rain on the way home, which was no fun, but it did help me see an initial issue with an oil leak where the shifter connects.

You can see the oil slick in the rain beneath the kickstand here:

Here's close up pic I took today in the dry. You can see where the oil is seeping out. Has this happened to anyone else? I plan on taking it back to the dealer for investigation, but wanted to see if anyone experienced this.

Kinda bummed about this oil leak, hoping this get solved quickly so I put some miles on. Thanks for any advice, I've enjoyed reading the site when I started researching the 630.

it is a pretty easy fix to replace the gear shift lever seal.i would bet that is the source of the oi leakl.dan

I too have an oil leak on my two week old TE630. It too is on the left side but seems to be coming from the clutch output seal.

Took the TE in to the dealer earlier this week and they replaced the oil seal on the shifter shaft. Hope the fix lasts. So far, the dealer has been great to work with to diagnose, etc. I'll post up if it starts leaking again. Fingers crossed.
