Been hearing a lot of mixed emotions and replies concerning the --New 20% more hp 630 Husky--

I ahve a 2009--610 te and one in a crate as well. But i have to make a choice this week as to what i should do --the 630sm's are on a long waiting list here in SA and we can not get a answer from the importer when the next batch will come in -- i ordered one --but still have time to pull out.
My 610 Te with Arrow pipe and power up kit runs like a bat out of hell --

The cost to get the 630 sm running with O2 kit and Arrow pipes as well as the ECU that comes as a --Special part --will it make this 630 run much better or is it just hype. ??????

I can get a brand new 610SM --and at the moment it seems like a better choice to me ---and cheaper to unleash the power within --any info will be appreciated--

Hey there, I just bought a 630 and have been really surprised by the results. I posted a review if you want to take a look at it. For the moment I don't know what to say about the 630. Mine may be messed up somewhere and I'm trying to get to the bottom of it but so far with a full Ti Leo Vince and power up kit its putting out 8HP less than a 610.

It's your choice what you want to do. I have an uncorked '08 SM610 and love it. It has plenty of power and I like the way it handles. I would not trade it for a new SM630, not enough of an improvement for me and too much weight. My SM610 has been perfect for the roads I ride.

I am starting to lean towards buying the new --09 sm the dealer has in the shop--i have O2 kits in stock and have a spare pipe that i removed the catylist from --i also find that my te610 handles well and the gear ratio is sot on ---thats why i have another one still in the crate ---afraid of something that has just not yet done it for me --the 630--. Have you got a aftermarket pipe on or stock one High-Side ?

I have a Leo Vince slip-on exhaust and it runs awesome. I really like my bike and it has been a lot of fun. Below is a link to a little ride on my favorite road. The KTM rider behind me that is filming the ride is making all the popping noise.

Looks awesome--love the carbon toutch to th eheat shield --i have just completed a course in carbon fibre custom -works and can't wait to do some goodies on my 610te and 450te --

I love the natural look on the swing arm something about the black on th 630 --just does not do it for me --nice

That carbon fiber look on the heat shield was made with a rattle can of low gloss black engine paint. Came out pretty good and has held up for over a year. [IMG]

I also like the look of my SM610 over the newer SM630 model - but to each his own. [IMG]
