Well after much procrastinating i bought a new 2012 Berg 450, sorry guys i still love Husky's but, anyhow after 1 ride i can honestly say that i am very happy with my choice, when im asked to describe it i just say " it feels like im cheating" the bike is so easy to ride and does everything so well it makes me feel like im a much better rider than i am and that is after only 1 ride.
It is worlds away from my TE450 (09) that i replaced with it, it just feels heaps lighter and smaller to ride.:D

I do have some "Karma" though, i let a mate ride it and he had a massive crash ending up in hospital with serious injuries, and my brand spanker is well and truly bent! Hence no second ride yet, maybe this week!:censored: 038.JPG

The pic is before the crash!

VERY nice bikes. I fell in love with them as well. rode the 390/450 and 570 and liked them all a lot. Then bought the TE511 and never looked back. Cured all my thoughts of the Bergs and I like the 511 better for many reasons. So many great bikes out there these days. Congrats.

I test rode a 570 Berg a few years ago. It was extremely stiffly sprung which turned me off it. However it was FAR from slow.

Sometimes just buying something new, perhaps throws a guy off a bit. The new feeling overpowers the true reality. Try a 10 or newer 4-stroke Husky. I had and 09 and the boys at halls claim the 10 and up handles and is a much better bike. Congrats on your bike. There are alot of bikes to choose from these days. Can you remove the ktm decal from under the seat????????????????????????? LOL PS I like running blue bikes over just as well as orange (just kidding?)

You are right in what you say, with me on the ride were a 2011 berg and a 2010 berg both of which rode nothing like my 2012 and not as good as mt 09 TE 450 which i really liked:thumbsup:. I would have been dissapointed had my bike rode like the other bergs, new bikes always just seem to do everything well! I also rode the kato 350 exc and for me it felt heavy which is contrary to what just about everyone else says about it after they ride it. For me there was no WOW Factor at all!:excuseme:

Im hoping to get my bike back this week and put some decent hours on it and get to know it better!

Exactly! For what the guy paid for the Berg, he better like it!! Wow all that leftover cash if he had bought a Husky could of produced a SWEET race weapon Sorry dude, (Husaberg owner) I have tried to fool myself mant times. HUSQVARNA RULES !
