New chain and sprockets, 13/50, on my TE 250/300. I got it from Motosportz (thanks, Kelly!). Nice piece of kit, but it seems long. It came with 116 links, and adjusted properly I have only one visible hashmark on the swingarm behind the axle block. Very little room for adjusting should it stretch. Should I take a link out?

    Thanks!

Nevermind. Would've made sense to count the number of links in my original chain before posting up, right? Original with the same gearing had 114 links.

Kelly, do you sell master links for this chain?

I was gonna say you can't just take "a" (one) link out. :busted:

You can totally take one link out! A little safety wire and the ends connect right up. Of course, you can't actually RIDE the machine like that...

Took TWO links out this morning and it looks just right.:)

Sorry, I missed this one. Yes, we send the chain at 116 links to work with most gearing with some cutting. Are you saying you did not get the master or want an extra?

BTW - This direct stuff is best addressed via our Motosportz Email - motosportz@gmail.com

    Thanks,

    Kelly,

I got a link with the chain and it's fine, but I'd like to get a spare or two. I'll shoot you an e-mail.
