It's a killer machine. Unfortunately, it can't haul anything but arse. Did you look at the leafs out back? There's 2 IIRC. I'm a huge fan of the thing... but if it can't haul a few bales of hay, it's not really a truck.

I know a guy with one. Seems to me that is it one of those 'if it rings your bell' then get it things. Looks silly to me. Those gumbo tires make for wooley steering and noise when on pavement, and you probably dont want to take it off road and scratch it up for the first 5 years.

I have an 08F150 Supercrew, Black, slightly lowered, FX2. Nicest, quietest freeway rig I have ever had (including some nice European sedans). 5.4 liters, great seats and 20 mpg cruising. PITA to park in the city though.

It's got 11/12 inches of travel with Fox shocks, 400hp, that's pretty cool.
Couldn't find anything about towing though, I think that truck would be awesome as a pre-runner type truck.
Remember when GMC came out with the Cyclone/Typhoon, 4.3 turbo AWD, those were completely useless for anything but going fast.

I saw one in the black and one in white. I did notice the fox shocks and they looked cool. It's nice to dream after you see the price tag. I thought that maybe someone has one on here.

I sat in one at the auto show, and I would love to own one, but cant justify it.
My Colorado does the job and it was pretty cheap brand new.

I think I would still rather have a Lightning over the Raptor :)

I think they are really cool, I'd love to have one.

But, can you even haul two bikes in one?

Saw a ton of them when we were prerunning baja last November. Some sitting, some going VERY fast through the dirt and rocks.

I have a 2000 F150 with 223k on it. 2wd V6. Most reliable truck i ever owned. Pretty much the opposite of that beast. :D

I like my seven year old SVT F-150. It's a lot of fun driving a supercharged V8 that hits 147 mph that gets you to the riding areas in a hurry. It can haul 1350 lbs in the bed and tow 5,000 lbs, so it can still be used as a truck. :)

I used to pull my bikes behind a regular Focus on a open 4x8 trailer. Worked fine, even in the mountains. You dont really need 300 hp to drag around a 300 lb motorcycle :-)

    Speaking of useless trucks… :D

Few days ago I saw one of these on the road and boy let me tell you I completely fell in love with it
Got to be the toughest little truck in existence… :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy: http://www.aev-conversions.com/products/brute/

oh yeah, I do like the way the Raptor looks and I like that Ford have the testicular fortitude to come up with something like that, maybe that’s why they didn’t needed to be bailed out ?

We wont be getting the raptor in Oz as a factory import at least. I have watched the promo vids and all the gurus rate it very high for off road and on road. It does look like a real beast. By the way that jeep just looks brilliant.

Jeep, Dodge, and Chrysler are in a death spiral. I'd be surprised if they make it 5 more years... maybe 3.
