Well the German Company via Ebay delivered on time even through the Christmas post my Bars in the UK.
It was a bit cramped in the shed but I was impatient to say the least even though it was hammering down outside I was determined to get them fitted.
All the parts laid out on the welder and all sorted to the instructions, I set about the cramped task of getting it together.
Noticed the first thing which was not a problem but the left side head bolt was only just tightening up and it had then bottomed out, so carefully I removed the bolt as is may have squashed the last thread and then you'd be turning the new one on the way out:eek:.
Only had to grind the very top back and it went back in a treat.
After several trips to the vice, I managed to bend the sump guard enough to get clearance on the left Guard, yes its the lovely guard from Altrider :applause:.
Love that rugged look about these but the anodising did give up as I bent the top part but it is underneath.
Still really good bit of kit the Motech Bars, look better in the flesh than pictures on the web and you can hang bags and lights if you want as some have done already.
Can post pics when the rain stops maybe in a week or two

There is a small amount of vibes on the bike now come to mention it. But if you bolt anything in the manner of these crash bars, I think that it will, but its a small price to pay for protection.

Yes it is. I was very worried after a stupid fall down in dirt, last summer, to trap my leg under the exhaoust pipe. with the bars now yo can afford your left leg not to be trap by the Terra in an accident. apart from protect levers and cooling system. it is the most important accesory to Terra in dirt.
