Ok ladies and gents, here is our new product. An oil drain bolt set that makes changing your oil much easier. I have always hated the stock setup and the "unique" routine needed to change the oil. The stock bolts are 6mm allen, 8mm allen, and 8mm hex head. Our bolt set uses 14mm hex heads for all 3 bolts. Now you only need 1 tool to pull all 3 drain bolts. Our front drain bolt has a captive O ring so you don't need to worry about dropping that stock O ring in the used oil any more. The second drain plate on the left side is now replaced with a plate and bolt combo. Just remove the bolt to access the 2 screens now. And as an added bonus, when you remove the bolt, the screens come with it. The magnetic drain plug can get packed with mud, and is sometimes hard to remove. Ours has a 14mm hex head so it's easier to remove, and anodized red so it's easier to see. http://7602racing.com/prod_husky_oil_bolts.php The bolt set. Almost forgot to mention. We will be doing a "Cafe Husky Special" on these! We will offer free shipping on the 3 bolt kit until April 10 at midnight. Anyone, anywhere in the world placing an order for the complete kit gets free shipping! A couple of reviews. [/IMG]
ill be getting these as soon as i have the spare cash! most likely after the 4-10 dedline for free shipping! There RED it will go great with everything else red! way to go 7602!
Is that anywhere as in "anywhere in the USA", or "anywhere in the world"? The TE's torn down for it's annual MOT prep (UK roadworthiness certification) and a bit of a tidy up and hasn't needed much at all so there's a little in the Husky Fund right now. I 'm not a fan of the stock access to the oil strainers either... I could also get the carb filter that I should have bought with my last order too. It may stop raining long enough to get dusty here this summer.
I was fortunate to be able to try these out early and I can tell you they are very well made and make changing the oil a breeze. If you do your own oil changes, which I believe most here do you need to pick up a set. If you don't then do your shop a favor and make it easier for them too. Great job 7602 Racing
If you think you are gonna miss it by a few days, pm me. We'll work something out. Anywhere in the world. Thanks guys, and gal.
This is awesome! Another great solution for an issue that makes our beloved Huskys "unique." Thanks to Clay's oil filter cover and it's spring retainer that aspect of filter changes is easier, and his clutch slave cylinder piston gives piece of mind about that know issue, and now this. AWESOME! All of this and fast shipping with great customer service. Thanks Clay!
Your supposed to change the oil??? Seriously??? Now seriously...nice stuff Clay. Functional well thought out And adds some bling factor Should be the setup that Husky Engineers had in the first place. Are you listening in Italy and Germany? Clay for Director of engineering and ergonomics! Joe
Thanks for the kind words guys. I updated my second post to add a couple of reviews from some guys I asked to test these out for the last month or so.
