Damn you Kelly That is one sweet YZ. And I always loved the Red and white. I was going to wheel it to the back of the garage and forget about it for a while....

Anyone know where I can find a very detailed motor rebuild manual?

According to the original owner he just rebuilt the top end but third gear was sticking...... So he split the cases, took the tranny apart and there it sat ... he never looked at it again... in 1996!.. The entire bike was/has been sitting in a storage shed in boxes since 1996.

Dug around in the boxes a little this morning. Top end / jug looks good and was bagged . Looks like he actually did have it ported at Procircuit back in the day. Looks like it does have a brand new very low hour Wiseco piston in it as well.

One crate has left side of motor ... other crate has rightside... tranny parts everywhere spread through boxes and coffee cans...

Apparently it was rebuilt top end when the tranny stuck in third. HE rebuilt it , started it up and rode it around his front yard until third gear stuck again!!! Took it apart and abandoned it...
