Good evening all, I just purchased a 09 sm610 with 7700 miles on it. I want to check the cct but am not sure exactly how to, I read a bit and am still a bit confused. Can I just unbolt the middle bolt then the other two then count the clicks? Also it has a Leo Vince slip on installed but also came with the stock one. The lv is installed right now, but there is no o2 sensor installed, just a plug screwed in. Is this safe? I'm told it may have had the power up kit, but there wasn't any definitive info, how can I tell? Thanks for your help!
Yes, then before you re-install it press the release and push the adjuster back. Theres a plug under the tank, it will either have a resistor put in it or a small box plugged in. I put the resistor in mine and gutted the original can. Also, buy a decent drive chain and sprockets and throw the OEM in the bin, ASAP
Thanks for the answer. Are there any other engine upgrades? maybe a cam change to add a little more power up top? are PCV worth the money on these bikes?
My 2009 SM610 is bone stock except for the power up kit and a LV slip-on. Runs strong. I like the stock gearing too. These are great bikes. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for another one. Mine has just over 3000 miles on the odo. She's still has a lot of life left in her.
