New to me 04 TE250. Air Box Screen

    Just picked up used 04 TE250. Cleaning the air filter. Should i leave that screen in behind the air filter?

    On my '08 I held the screen up in place to the bare cage and cut around it with a pair of snips. I still have the backfire screen in but now the filter makes contact with the air box ring. Much better now, imo.
