    Hi all,

    I recently bought a WR 250 and I'm running 40:1 interceptor premix.

I get a lot of spouge, after about 2hrs or so, it's so bad it's running down the bottom of the pipe (FMF)

It cleans off easy enough, but it seams a bit excessive to me. the manual says 40:1 , but are any going to 50:1?

I've been away from zingers for a while, so can't comment on how it runs, as it runs fine for me, and starts fine.

I've read that many put lectrons on their 300's, is it a good fix for 250's?

    Thanks much!

My WR300 manual says "not less than 50:1". I'm running Motorex Cross Power 2T at 50:1 with no issues.

I run 44:1. I get spouge, JT jet kit helped. When it get's bad enough, I repack my muffler. Enjoy your new bike.

Hi and welcome. Lots of posts here about spooge and causes and cures, read on. Very likely your silencer is full of spooge, if it hasn't been repacked recently. Also E10 pump fuel is junk, so if you're using that don't expect a clean burn. All the standard stuff too: clean filter, fresh plug, maybe check compression....
My 165 still spooges, but I don't care too much. Have to repack more often, runs like a raped ape through the woods and starts 1 kick cold or hot

Lectron makes everything better IMO, but didn't effect my spooge output.

The lectron is money well spent, also you don't have to sell it when you sell your bike, keep it for your next bike!

as others have alluded to, spooge is related more to jetting than oil quantity
