hey everybody, i only have one question ( so far ) burning at my mind..whats the easiest way to tell if my tr650 is restricted?..i just bought it right after our last snow storm and havent even driven it yet..thanx alot..
take the seat off and peak through the gap between airbox and engine. You may need a flash light. You will see the throttle body and on the left side the cable drum. Either check if the throttle cable is hooked into the outer drum (unrestricted) or the inner one (restricted) or pull the throttle to full open and check if the metal tab on the throttle drum hits the aluminum tab on the throttle body. If it does it is unrestricted.
There are no restricted versions in the US, only Australia and a few EU-countries. Using the term "driven" rather than ridden indicates some EU/UK?-origin.
