    Hi All
Might be dumb..but how do i get the front sprocket off from a 2006 250 TE. I see the clip holding the front sprocket, i will get a clip plier to remove it from there....but what is the next step.
    Thanks

That's all you need to do, remove snap ring, pull off sprocket, you're done, reverse order to install

P.S. proper snapring pliers are recommended & make the job a breeze

so the snap ring is the only stuff that holds the front sprocket...nothing else ?

When the front sprocket slides out...the chain is still on the old sprocket or do i have to loosen the chain by sliding the rear tire?

I've never been able to do it without loosening chain first.

OK...so loosen the chain first by sliding the rear wheel...then snap off the ring and slide the sprocket....
thanks that was what i needed..this is the first time i will be doing it....

Does it matter which direction the front sprocket faces?
