Hey there everyone, brand new to this site and new to the Terra world as well. Been a long time Husky fan, mostly the 2 stroke family and decided to purchase a Terra. I need a few answers tho if you wouldn't mind helping me out.

    1. In need of some mirror extenders. Found a few on eBay but for a great price but not sure if they'll fit, 8/10mm I believe is the clamp size. Anyone install them?

    2. I have 4km's on the bike now, since I bought it without test riding or seeing it and the dealer I bought it from is aways away I thought I would see if this is normal. When I give the bike some throttle the mufflers make a screeching/whistle sound. May not be the mufflers but I've never experienced it before. May need to ride it down to a shop and ask them.

Thanks for the help in advance

Greetings and salutations RyGuy. Can't help you with the mirror portion of your question but the whistle sound is normal and I believe if you scour through the threads, there are at least one or 2 going into the finite details of the phenomena! Cheers

The Mirrors are standard issue 10mm. I put on a set from a Suzuki Bandit so I could see more than my elbows:-)

If you want to keep the original mirrors, SW-Motech do extenders. As Jughead has said, anything 10mm will work

Welecome to the forum, nice screen name. I think all tr's make the chirp, at least mine and my buddies do. As for the mirrors, they are kinda worthless the glass in my right mirror came loose and vibrated like crazy whenever I gassed it so I ditched it. I just look over my shoulder now.

Bought mine off eBay - black 10mm extensions were $10 or so ( bought them last summer for a departed KTM ).

I put a set of after market mirrors on my Terra. They are the same style as those on some Aprilias, BMWs MotoGuzzis. I believe they are a bit wider than the stock mirrors, and look much better too IMHO. They also vibrate less. You can see them on my bike in this thread. http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/my-terra-accessories.30476/
