Nordisk rim alloy - what grade?

    1965 250, 1978 390 Auto, 1983 510 TX
    Anyone know what grade alloy the Nordisk rims are made from?? I have a set from 1983 ish and would like to know what grade they are.. 6016 ? or 7075..??

    Some one please help on this. The local anodizer here was asking what grade also. It would help him choose his mixture he says. He was worried if the AL was any lower of
    a grade it could affect his tanks. Me - don't know about this stuff.

    same q from my guy also.. If it is 6061 then the process is simpler.. likely to come out "blotchy" if 7075.. Anyone...??

    7075 is not weldable so it is not that. Likely 6000 series alum.
