Does anyone know the phone number for the rep that handles Husky for the north east? I've had my 310 for two months and still don't have my plate. My dealer says he is waiting on Husky.
Most MSOs have been arrivng within a week of the bikes delivery lately. Yours may have slipped through the cracks. Your dealer should call Husky and just remind them that they dont have one for your bike. I called Rob Keith a week ago looking for one that I didnt realize was MIA and it arrived via FED EX today.
Ditto, It's your dealer's responsibility to deal with Husqvarna NA, not the customer. So get on your dealer and don't let them tell you it's out of their hands.
I've been having issues with my dealer, and the brand new bike I purchased 3 days ago. Can you send me Rob Keith's number so I can contact him about these issues?
Three days isn't much time to sort through issues, you should give your'e dealer a chance to try and help you out.
Rob doesn't need to be talking to dissatisfied costumers. He is there for the dissatisfied dealers...ummm wait that came out wrong. Rob has more things to worry about then a dissatisfied costumers. As hard as it may be, I would patch things up with your dealer. If you have purchased a "Brand New' Husky off him. I think he would be someone you would want in your corner not apposing you.
mechanical/technical issues? paperwork issues? personality issues? There is a customer service hotline where you will talk to an agency that represents HSQ NA, but not HSQ NA directly. This is unfortunately corporate customer service these days. Dealer relationship is key to a positive experience, without the dealer there are no bikes.
Ok...sure. Here's the abreviated version. I did not get the Power-up kit when I bought the bike. People at the dealer claim it does not come with the bike. I told them it did, and that I should be walking out of here with my bike in one hand, and the parts kit in the other. They said they would look into it, so I took the bike home anyway in hope they would learn shortly after that it does. Still no positive answers, or kit regardless of repeated correspondence with them. Also upon closer inspection of the bike once I got it home relvealed that some parts were missing, and a bunch of nuts and bolts were loose. Including one engine mount, all fork pinch bolts. Even the battery terminals. One bolt was stripped, and cable routing done wrong. I have not been able to speak to the owner. He's been too busy according to the other people that have been answering the phone. I was assured that I would get the missing parts shipped Monday, but still nothing on the Power-up kit. They will get about a week to make good on everything, but that will be it. I've never seen such poor bike set-up, service, or business practice in all my 35 years of riding. Simply pitifull.
So we are talking about a 2009 model TE 250/310/450/510 or SM 450/510? And you're missing the less restrictive air filter cage and O2 sensor eliminator kit? Perhaps the dealer doesn't know any better that is was missing in the crate from the factory or they have decided to make a policy of delivering the bikes restricted,...........that is their perogative however if it's the later.
Yes...It's an '09 TE310, and those are the things I am missing. It also includes a 'race tail' drop down for the rear fender. Didn't get that either. The dealer is totally aware of the kit being part of the bike deal. He brought a TE310 to the NETRA show a month or more ago to show one off, and one major discussion was the small price increase for '09 to help compensate for the kits. They are delivered restricted. I'm supposed to get the kit in a box with the bike for me to put it on when I'm ready to. Kind of doubt it was missing in the crate, but I can't prove that.
They do have a nice website http://www.motofit.com and they do a great job pimping both Husky and HuskyTalk.com From the sound of things, my guess is you bought the bike right off the show room floor (As in right out of the crate and not fully set-up!) The dealer had it on the floor just to fill floor space. If you have a problem with the bike, bring it back to the dealership and have them go over it, but from the look of their website I'd say it sounds like they are making an effort to promote the Husky Brand. FWIW, I have been jipped on the "power up" kit on a few 09s. I got the tail-light but not the jumper plug and/or the plug for the header pipe.
