Had an epic weekend in Bend Oregon with a bunch of other CH members. Conditions were excellent. Seemed to hit the best part of fri-sunday so had a great time. Rode some bikes so thought I would do a quick report.

Thanks Bills (BMP) for bringing these bikes out once again for us to try. It is amazing you guys do that and Bryon does a fantastic job of working the setup. Much appreciated.

    Bills personal GG 300:

Took Bills personal bike for a spin before he even got there. Felt bad about that (no I didn't). Typical GG motor, lots of nice linear power. Much like my Lectron carbed 02 CR250 husky. Lots of good usable power everywhere. Shock was very good, handling was nice, weight felt fine. Forks were harsh for me. No adjustments were made as it was not mine to do so. Seat was made of CNC machined steel. :>) Overall I liked the bike. Very nice usable motor, very good rear suspension and everything else worked fine. With the forks fixed I could live with this bike easily.

    Husky TC250:

Motor. Lots of endless top end. Bottom was a little soft but the top end was WOW. Intoxicating and fun. Very fast in the open stuff. Loved it. The bike felt very light. The suspension beat the crap out of me. the handling was KTM twitchy and nervous to me. Overall a very light feeling rocket with harsh suspension.

    Troffers new TE125 husky:

Nice bike. Beautiful to look at. Motor was very weak off the bottom and then exploded but did not rev as far as I thought it might. I found it somewhat hard to ride fast with the on/off motor. Suspension was semi harsh like the TC250. Fells crazy light. Good bike but was not wild over it. Tim loves it for what he does.

    Troffers new TE250 husky:

Nice motor. Like the usable GG but less. Similar to my 02 CR250 husky but maybe slightly less overall power. Hard to say out there without a back to back. Suspension after I changed a few clicks on the shock was VERY good. On par with the Beta and my AJP here. Really good stuff. handling still had a slight hint of the KTM twitchiness but much less than the other new huskys probably due to the softer more dialed suspension. All the new huskys feel wide at the tank to me. My AJP, 511 and 02 CR are all much narrower in the tank area. Not an issue and something i would get used to quickly but made them feel large in comparison. I really liked this bike. One of my favorites of the day.

    Kevins Beta 250:

Very nice bike. He had a bunch of ergonomic changes to it which made it feel a bit odd to me but the beta underneath was excellent. Had a great Beta motor which reminds me of the GG300/TE250/CR250. Good spread of very usable linear power. Very nice suspension. This, the TE250 and my AJP all were neck and neck for best suspension. I have ridden several Betas now. I really like them. Very much in the GG mold with just good usable motor / handling / suspension.

Thanks everyone for letting me try your bikes.

I liked how narrow the GG was. Harsh forks yes. Hard seat Yes. Power for sure. It felt like it had much more power than mine. But I forgot I have done a gear change for the desert so it makes sense why it felt that way.

Husky TC250 nice power but I was surprised at how small or cramped the bike felt.

I did not ride it. Give it to me for a weekend and I'll do a full write up with pictures and everything. :)

BTW, I forgot to mention the obvious. Thanks a ton for dragging these bikes out for us to try Bill and team. It means a lot to us. Big Thanks.
