I'm a 9er fan, but I'm not sure Kopecknie (intentional misspelling) is up to the task against Seattle. Sure, he can run great and SOMETIMES he passes well, but just as often he passes poorly, fails to get a play off before delay of game and burns time outs like they're going out of style. It's like there's two of him. One is a calm, determined leader. The other is a newb that seems like a deer caught in the headlights. Plus, I'm still sore about how he got the gig. The 9ers totally burned Alex Smith. And he'd been doing great for them. He gets a concussion and despite being ready to play a week later, they never play him again and drop him in the off season. I was hoping the Chiefs and Niners made it to the SuperBowl just so Smith could kick their butts and give the niners mgmt the finger. But no, I don't hold grudges… why do you ask?
Get over it. Kapernick is the future of the 9ers just as Smith is the future of the Chiefs. Nothing against Smith and, you're right, Smith didn't deserve what he got given how well he played, but to quote every athlete ever interviewed, "It is wut it is". If you're truly a 9er fan, be happy at where there because Smith is now fishing the Missouri River while Kap is getting ready for Seattle. Tall order indeed, however. We'll see... Was hoping the Chargers would pull it off but Peyton Manning is......well ..he's Peyton Manning. One of the very best next to Montana, who's the undisputed Greatest Ever.
I'm not a big football fan, but I've been a niners fan since Brodie was their quarterback. I certainly don't think they're suddenly going to take Smith back… heh. Was just saying… Yeah, SD occasionally threatened to pull something together, but the Broncos were pretty much in charge most of the game. Either way, next week's game should be a good one. Although the Seattle Sissies are refusing to sell tickets to CA addresses. Pretty lame.
Me too, John Brodie, Gene Washington. The lean years til Montana/Walsh. The Seattle thing is definitely lame but not surprising. Look at what Chris Hansen is doing. The guy who tried to steal the Kings away from Sacramento is now funding a group ,"S.T.O.P." that are trying to block the new Arena from being built in Sac. Talk about a sore loser dirtbag. GO NINERS.
Gongrats to Seattle..Hard fought game between two evenly matched teams. So go celebrate with a non-fat Latte and a fatty of the kind but you'd better bring it home for the NFC at the Superbowl. Peyton Manning is a little bit better than Kapperdoodle or ......just kidding Kap, love ya man...........................
