What were the results? I just watched it but missed the last 4 laps. Must have missed this part unless it was part of the pile up at the beginning
i won't spoil the thread with too many details or results but there was a big pileup in turn two... Reed got outta wack down the first set of whoops and took a whole mess of riders out. sucks. Stewart and Barcia DNF'd
Whoops can take any of those guys down but it is a little unusual to hear CR22 crashed there ... Too bad on stew and JB51 ...
Dungey needs to get a start, Stewart needs to get healthy, or what looked like an amazingly stacked field is going to get boring quick. And before the Villipoto is miles above everyone else club gets started, Dungey out qualified him and pulled back 5 seconds once he cleared major traffic. I am looking for Canard to go on a tear soon also.
Good ideas there ... TC41 has some more speed to show I think ... it might be interesting to see him catch RV2 and follow him a few laps ... I liked the way the camera was walked through the field to show some of the top ten riders ... RV2 and Mills were both lucky to get by that one ... stew ... you know he hated to have a crash ... I gotta see what CR22 had to say about this crash was all about on youtube ... looked like his honda just out ran of factory on those last few whoops ...
Pretty sure he got into the back of Millsaps. He definately then swapped hard right, collected Josh Grant, who freighttrained them both straight through the right-hander to the berm collecting Canard, Stewart, and several others.
Feel bad for Shorty. A quality guy and his team pulls up steaks. Still, he had a good showing on a stock bike. I think JS7 might be done. He already had a torn ACL, but with this last incident he could have made it worse. TC41 is still knocking on the door. It's been fun to watch him make his way back. Kind of pulling for him. If RV1 keeps this up they'll make him an honorary citizen of Menifee, CA.
Shorty's team folded? News to me ... He finished 7th and thats about his place .... He's rode a several different bikes the last few yrs ... He's the guy I'd like to see on a Husky ... Or maybe Kdub ... maybe he'll drop off from honda ...
Ya, but KDub is out - retired from racing. Was a sad day in our house. Ya, Chap Motorsports dropped out and left Shorty hanging (And to think, I almost stopped by Chap on my way home from Mojave on Sunday). The bike Shorty had in Oakland was a stock showroom floor Honda. Same as what anybody could buy at a dealer.
Here Stewart says he's staying in it, and will continue to even if he's mr. 16th place. Looks like he may be finally manning up. Or he won't get paid...... View: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=3pSH5kHT0O0 Here Stewart wants to make it clear he had nothing to do with Reed getting squirrly....It was clearly Reed and Milsaps at 0:14 View: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=iYnDlJyacSs #! GoPro's are, without a doubt, the biggest advancement in racing in recent years!!! GoPro's kick ass!!
Wow Milsaps really accelerates thru the whoops ... Very interesting to see how Villapoto turns with the rear tire ... like RC used to Blown away by how HARD these guys ride ... on the rev limiter of hot rodded 450's
