125-200cc OEM silencer repacking ?

OK, so I gotta repack the silencer on the 300 (09) am I correct to assume(& we all know how dangerous that is,lol) that I just need to drill out the 4 rivets to get it to come apart? This will count as my dumb question for the month................ thanx in advance........

Drill the rivets and remove the four 8mm bolts on the other end.

Thanks Gotlabs, I wanted to be sure b4 I started tearin' stuff up........

The orings on the ends are a PITA. I used a dead blow mallet to persuade it out, and used hi temp rtv when I repack.

Everything gotlabs said,I like to use a torch to burn the oil of the internal center section

Thanks again, just "persuaded" it apart. Had a wooden dowel that I beat on to get it started, now just need to clean it up and put 'er back together, me thinks it was done b4 but not very well...........
