Hello Today I started up my Terra650 after a major renovation including piston, cylinder, valves. Now I can't get the oil to circulate correctly. It seems like it won't come up to the frame. 2 liters filled up but nothing on the stick. Instead, the temperature increases and I get a high temp alarm. Normally you can see oil coming out of the hose from the engine to the frame sump but now nothing comes that way. A friend of my told me to check with a multimeter on the oil pressure switch to see if there is oil pressure. It should be located behind the oil filter but I can not found it. Do we have an oil filter switch on Terra?
I could not find an oil pressure switch or wiring for one in the workshop manual. According to a pdf version of the workshop manual, after removing the oil filter, there is a pressure valve on the left and a unidirectional valve on the right.
