Does anyone know where I can get a decently priced and good quality oil drain plug for my 2011 TE250? I've stripped the OEM one twice now; Anything would help at this point! Thank you! -Scott
I did the same to my 2010 te 250, I ordered one fro Zip-Ty racing, Red Aluminum style, But the first one had bad threads so they sent me another one, at the same time I went to the dealer and they had a stock replacement in stock, so I took that as well. The stock one is steel and threaded right in, as the new Zip ty was in the mail. So currentle I have the steel one in, but the Zip -ty is shelved in case. The stock is cheaper, but the head for the wrench is shorter, so its best to use a 6 point box end wrench! I learned the hard way on the original, The Zip Ty has a Longer head for a wrenching. The 2010 does not have a cut out in the frame to access the bolt so its a tougher fit where as the 2011 I believe does, the only reason I know this is cause my riding buddy has a 2011 txc 250 and we wrench on it at my house. Hope this helps Jim
