I noticed an oil leak today. It appears to be coming from a round black plastic thing that looks like a sensor or something, that is located on the rear portion of the left side case, just under the primary gear cover. It has two brass colored screws holding it and what looks like a bare wiring coming out of it. Does anyone know what this is? Is there a gasket or O-ring behind it that I can replace? Thanks for any help.
Figured it out....gear position sensor according to an exploded parts diagram. Tightened it up and hopefully that will stop the leak....
