125-200cc Oil Sight Glass Change-Out

So, I ordered a new sight glass from BMP. It looks like it just presses in. Has anyone done this? Does it infact just press in, or am I missing something.

With the metal tabs on the internal side of the cover, I don't see the sight glass coming out through the inside. Looks like it pushes out to the external side of the cover, and the new one presses in from the outside as well. Thoughts?

Mine pushes in from the inside and has a snap ring holding it in. Not sure if that helps.

No, nothing like that, but then again, mine's a BMW kind of thing. I'm sure George or Ty could help you on that one.

Yep, pressed out to the exterior of the case cover. Fairly easy to get out. Hope maybe this helps someone in the future! Sight glass was less than $10, and will give me much needed peace of mind. I had to use a flashlight before to be able to see through it.
