What kind viscosity do you put in your ohlins ITC 83/84 for a 500 wr?
    I'm weighting 83 kgs.
Don't want to put original ohlins oil.
    Is it 2.5 w , 5 w or more ?
    Thanks
    Michel

I always use Ohlins oil unless you want to change the valving shims configuration. You are at the ideal weight for the original valving configuration, no need to change anything.

I have had them rebuilt with 7.5 wt usually. That is what Ohlins oil is supposed to measure at.

However last pair were built using 5wt Maxima I think and worked very well also.

I was told that it is not hugely important with the ITC's. The important thing is to ride them and then adjust the valuing to suit your weight and riding style. Sa63 has a thread here with lots of good info on valving which I used and found worked great for the tracks I ride (except if there is a kicker on a jump face - the rebound a little quick for those!)
