Been meaning to do this for ages.
Wanted to blend classic 70's looks with 80's components.
The result of 2months in the shed is Ol' Blue.
This bike has been built from scratch. Based on a 510 TC frame I have resourced all the best parts available and a few innovative ideas of my own incorporating my unique billet aluminium Sprocket Cover and also featuring my Two in One Race S/S Exhaust System, YSS 2 way adjustable rear shocks, massively modified front forks and considerable bespoke hand built parts.

Got loads of attention and praise at the International Dirt Bike Show this year

    It's lovely, very nice work.

Why did you polish the rod? Did you shot peen it after?

We used to break the little ends when I was road racing the Husky 570 motors. I went for a Carrillo rod, others had billet titanium rods made. The problem was sustained high RPMs would stretch the little ends. You probably won't see it though.

What a beautiful bike. An 83 4 stroke with the snappy revs of a modern four stroke....awesome. My heart raced when it was fired up. I was ready to see Ol Blue shoot some roost? You can't have a short vid of someone only flicking the throttle in the garage! Need to see roost shooting video! Damn, the adrenalin rush is fading.

it is right in line with the beautiful twin shockers, your bike is tastefully done. The most aesthetically pleasing bikes anywhere are the UK Twin Shockers.
