Tore the 300 down for cleaning & greasing and came across this gem:


It's a good idea to tear the suspension apart once in a while and check things out cause you never know what's happening behind closed doors.

Even though the collar damaged the seal and allowed water to pass the bearings still looked good. Thank you Husky for the zerk fittings! I'm gonna replace one collar, all the seals and then forget about it until winter is over.

I wish they had kept the zerk fittings on the newer bikes.

Sorry. I guess I should have said "I wish they would put zerk fittings on the newer bikes like my WR125 or SM630."
