Took the bikes to dunes for a 4 day trip, huskys did great. Rode YZ 450, crf 450 and a ktm 350 2 stroke. I can honestly say the huskys had no problems keeping up and actually were more comfortable and stable in the sand. Great trip... image.jpg

Yes it does look like a perfect day for the dunes.

Hey bill we weren't that far from you, we thought about a road trip and take a look at the new 501's but there was too much riding to do.

Only issue we had with the huskys and it was doing it when they were mo tarded out too is we get some drops out the radiator over flow hose. I check the fluid and they seem to be a little low like 1/4 to half small cup needs to be added. Below the fins in the radiator. Fans are working fine and if I start it with the rad cap off fluid flows like crazy so maybe it's time for new rad caps or? Maybe the norm for them is below fins or these motors just run a bit hotter than my YZ 450. Do you carry new rad caps in stock bill? Before trip I changed the oil with my normal Mobil 1 0w 40 and i topped everything off with distiller water. I have noticed they don't seem to spit as much when the oil is fresh but I average 300 to 500 miles between oil changes, kinda weird...

Pretty jazzy looking flag holders ... And that other outer reef break looks like it's going off!

Hows that white Suomy helmet working for you?

Yup flag holders were made for us by a company called Hines racing out of yreka california. They make flag holders and quick releases for them. Pretty slick, I had to give them my bike for a couple weeks, they make them for all kinds of bikes. The waves were bigger than normal but it was so cold we didn't stay on the beach too long. The helmet is an icon variant if I remember correctly and it's expensive and very nice. The huskys now belong to my boys since I bought a new yz450. Kinda always did but I rode them from time to time, changed oil, paid for gas etc...lol
