    Hi,

This pic is taken from my SM125 2008. Apparently the yellow marked thing above the carb broke down, which result in super boggy-ness almost immediately after the valve open. Now my bike cant go on high RPM. Anyone know this electronic thingy can be repaired? or should i order a new one?

My guess would be ether a throttle position sensor or a device that makes it lean out on top like the YZ carbs have. If it shares a shaft with the slide actuator and moves when you rotate the throttle it is a throttle position sensor. This would explain why you have a bog when it is not working.

    Edit...

Looks like a Deloto VHST carb with throttle position sensor...

Thanks guys, yup its a 28mm dellorto carb. I fixed this problem by changibg to a keihin pwk 35mm. But another problem occurred... My piston seized, due to lack of 2t oil.

a VHST 28 with optional TPS Perche??????

these are definitly not Husky problems...you may want to stick with OEM stuff or the carb set ups that are tested among riders on this site. 32:1 is a very safe bet. Hope you get her fixed up.

That thing on your carb is a TPS (throttle position sensor) it talks electrically to the ignition module. The powervalve is the mechical device that changes the exhaust port opening in relation to rpm.
Hope you get her fixed up, Huskys need to be everywhere!!

The stock sm125 comes with the dellorto carb as OEM. Anyway, does a scratched piston and piston ring affect power loss?

Did you mix the oil \ gas ratio incorrectly?

Yes, Scratched piston will indeed hurt power. You need a rebuild before you ruin cylinder if you haven't already.
