    Hello,

Has anyone removed the passenger pegs from you 630 and want to sell me the mounting brackets?
I need one for an exhaust mount (FMF) that I didn't know I needed.

If you want to sell, PM me or reply here.

    Thanks

FYI, you don't need the entire bracket for the FMF only the U-bolt clamp. I bought a couple extra for mounting a helmet lock anf tool tube recently. $8.50 each from Halls.

Thanks for the response. That is what I want, the ubolt clamp only. I used mine to do the subframe mod.

2 dealers told me $65 each, I thought that was a little high. So I am improvising until I can locate one. It dawned on me on my way to the hardware store that they must have quoted the whole footpeg bracket LOL.

Where is your tool tube mounted? I want to do that too.

Not mounted yet but my plan is to fit it where my right side muffler used to be.

Your dealer is full of ....well, you know.

They're like $10 for the u-bolts for the passenger peg brackets. The problem is they were back ordered. Someone found one from a local dealer though. One of the members gave me his which saved the day for me.

Post if you still need some, will help you find them.

Thanks, I got it figured out. Just went and bought a normal u-bolt from the hardware store and it works fine for the exhaust.

I had redeployed mine the previous day doing your subframe mod. Yours looks much better, I really butchered the fender with the dremel! Nothing a little duct tape and JB couldn't fix...

    Thanks for posting those plans.

LOL. YW. Yeah, that fender trim is a bit tricky.

I used a couple of standard 1/4" u-bolts for the pass pegs for one trip and then didn't use the pegs. But they worked fine. The right side under the airbox is really tight. That skinny little strap fits in there perfectly. GUNSHOTWOUNDS was kind enough to give me his from a SM he races.

A lot of guys take off the pegs to shave some weight. I like to have them there in case I have to rescue some a-hole. :D
