I have a 2006 te 610 and I am looking for a way to lower my pegs. I cant get my riding boots between the shifter and the peg in the stock position and was hoping to find something prebuilt since my time is limited due to work. If need be I will build something myself, maybe someone has something already and could email me some drawings? Thanks
Three threads for you: 1) I believe PivotPegz and Fastaways both sit slightly lower, but pricey... http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/what-foot-pegs-for-610te.219/ 2) Instead of third party pegs, some folks have cut off the bolt collars and welded them on again, see for example: http://www.thumpertalk.com/topic/446378-2007-te-610-lowering-foot-pegs/ 3) Finally, while fussing with the pegs, its worth a little care - maybe consider replacing the stock bolts for example. Some folks have had bolts bending, shearing and falling out, see for example: http://www.thumpertalk.com/topic/485369-te610-footpegs-read-this/ I have size 14 Alpinestar boots and find I can shift with the stock pegs, after taking the rubber inserts out, but I have to lift my foot to do so. Gotten used to that. But I'd love me a pair of Pivot Pegs.
Thanks, I have removed the rubber already and I am just about to tight to spend $150 on pegs to lower about 10mm so looks like a little fabrication this weekend.

Or those just looking for a little more comfort. Kirk
Little fabrication and you can have this http://rickramsey.net/TE310mods.htm#shifter I did something very similiar, can shift now
