A friend of mine had a few of us over for a day of MX practice at his private track. We were the only two Huskys but we represented pretty well. Jr Vielle a local pro is practicing to qualify for the Washougall nationals this summer. Tim is an adventure sports junkie that spends winters in Canada and summers down here working. Shane on the WR125 learned a lot and was progressing well through the day. My brother and nephews came up to do some riding as well. Zack lives here, he is 9. I am still mad that I cut his head off. Caiden lives here also and is going to be a great rider. More in a bit...
Me on the TXC, my brother took the pictures for me. Me on Giles' kawi Dave Taxel local suspension guru and great rider. Giles owns the place. More in a bit...
Some helmet cam footage with me riding... and with Jr riding... He passes me in this one when I am on the KX. Later,
where's the huge double i heard about? Maybe next time. Not big into MX but do appreciate the invite as always.
There isn't one, never has been... The step up is pretty big though, 65 feet I think is what Giles said it was. And the double double double section is intimidating at first but not too bad. I was able to get all three on Shanes 125 even, he was doing the first two but didn't realize the third set was the easiest. I am not big into MX either, cross training is just fun. Later,
great stuff Jake the airtime looks awesome.....and pretty gutsy riding with the trees and jumps..looks very narrow good vids
