Living the hard life The rest: http://www.pbase.com/anepoch/cafehusky Let's see some stickers in action!
Good heavens! You are definitely doing a torture test on the stickers! INSIDE the front fender? Looks like they are holding up GREAT! I'll be sure to let the guy know that printed them how well they are holding up Fading is the other issue I'm concerned with, but I've seen none of that (yet).
Header Pipe protector On the Cafe Husky stiker previer there is a glimpse of what looks like a bash plate/protector for the header pipe. Can anyone provide some info on that please-it looks sensible. Cheers; Glenn H.
Sadly, I don't have any, but if I did they would be tested rigorously like these ones. Can't put 'em on the rear fender. None of those ever do very well, due to a large amount of boot dragging by a short person on mounting and dismounting.
I made it out of similar diameter alum tube, drilled holes in it, cut it lengthwise and strapped it on using hose clamps. Keeps the rocks from dinging the crap out of the header nicely. On the sticker: I should have said it's been there since the Baja ride in Feb. It's holding up VERY well! I've got some extra stickers, maybe I should drop them at Ron Bishops and Moto Forza to disburse.
Sometimes I wonder if anybody takes any pride in their work anymore. Take the "H" for example on Ruffus' front fender. Mine's cocked a bit too. It probably shouldn't matter since most of the competition is looking at the rear fender anyway!
Geeze...I hope I didnt over overboard with this.... looks like I only have one sticky left for dave 415....

I cleaned up my garden shed today and had a little extra room. So I went out and bought another Husky ...
That there is awesome, made me --> I trust that come winter time you will take it apart and adjust the color?
Glad you got them, looks great! Anyone else have pics of the stickers in use? Any unusual uses like patching a hole or hiding another sticker?
