    Why does FMF and Pro Circuit only make pipes for the years 1999-2004, 2009-2014? They skip 2005-2008. Will a 2009 fit an '08 or do you have to cut and reweld the mounts? We have what I believe is an '06 FMF Fatty on the bike now but there is too much stress on the mounts that the rubber eventually tears. Anyone find a pipe that fits properly without having to do mods?

    08 cr 165
    think 99-08 are practically identical aside for changes in the the head design maybe.

    09 and up are a very different design in terms of mounting points.

    I just give things a little tweak if I can but I haven't torn a rubber mount yet.
