hi guys,im lookin to do the piston on my cr125 and on ebay there are many makes, thought i would see which is the most popular.i dont rag it as im re-learning my skills after 20 yr away from off road riding, but reliability is more important than any increase in power etc,ive used bike for about 12 hrs since i brought it,and have done quite alot of little jobs,to make sure its safe, wheel bearings, pads, changed gearbox oil every 2 rides etc,but im getting nerves about top end cause i cant afford new cylinder if it lets go.
    thanks steve

The stock Husky piston is very good. I would think you would safely get at least 50 hrs out of it if not more. We have guys that have hundreds of hrs on the stock piston.

I have used, stock, Wiseco, Vertex, and Fast by Ferracci (which I think are made by Wiseco) pistons with no problems. Last time I checked FBF was selling pistons on ebay for $49.95.

pull yer pipe. look at the pitson through the ex port. lemme know what ya see, snap a pif of the ex side if ya can get up in there. i replaced my stocker when it houred out but it was fine appearance wise...but still, its' cast, it was houred out, ya cant see the wrist pin, brg etc. if it's houred out dont wail on it too much to be safe. i replaced my '09 piston with a Wiseco from Motosportz and have a lot of HARD hours on it. stupid thing wont blow up! (167 kit when it does cough cough) lol...
