finally got my '96 te 610 running after ingition troubles and having to wait weeks for parts to arrive... she runs great....first kick from cold....but she smokes alot when cold.....after five mins ridnig she still smokes but not nearly as bad..... i'm guessing a top end refresh...valve stem seals and new rings..... my question is.....has any one tried a three ring piston in these motors...i have lots of suzuki tl1000 spares....i know the pistons are the same diameter... can anyone tell me the pin size and pin to crown measurement... cheers...
