Wow, Creeper does nice work, that's plusher looking than I thought. With a easy chair like that you can just have a TV in the gararge and never have to get off the Husky. Now please replace the the stantion gaurds so we can respect you again.
You got something against the red white and blue? I have had the black guards for about 6 months, guess i should swap them out.
Thanks. I originally bought it as my dualsport bike (and it was yellow/blue) but after landing a SM kit for very reasonable and riding it on the street a bunch I am selling my 1000 superhawk because it never gets used anymore. This has become my primary street bike and a great one at that. Same bike (talk about versatile)...
Dude...the blue is bothering me tooooo, but hey it's your bike so you can do whatever ! Very nice seat though.
Looks nice sir, how is the ride? I bought a Corbin, I get it Thursday, I will post up when I get it. Thanks in advance!
Looks great, I am having the same setup for te in june. My rear end is getting excited! I just turned 52 and my passion for a good seat is becoming more diverse.
Thats it. I'm going out right now and peeling my graphics off! That seat looks plush alright. I went with the Guts Racing one and am pretty happy with it but it has no where near the cush factor!
WoooHooo. It's a positively awesome experience. I finally felt comfortable enough to do a WFO run and I was shocked to find that even with the reduced tire height I gained top speed. Before with the knobbies on it I could get ot 106mph if I was in a full racers tuck and rung it out till it's tounge was hanging out (and on those tire it was a frieghtening ride), now it tops out @115. The gain is probably due to the lighter spinning mass allowing me to wind it up to a higher rpm. I highly recomend the Contiforce SM tires, they are a radial design with a lighter sidewall than the big superbike tires and are idealy suited to our lighter more agile bikes. The bike runs smooth as can be down the road and has endless traction in the corners, I've made a few sparks off the footpegs with no indication that it's ready to let go. Thanks for the help in getting all the hardware to make the conversion. BTW we had talked about the downside to using the std. TE front brake with the SM set and it actually works out quite well. If you are doing competitive SM stuff you would want the biggest baddest brake you could find but you can still do stopiies with TE front brake, it just takes a little more effort.
Littler tires have to spin more than larger tires, so your gain is probably due to more tire rotations per mile. You're not actually going faster but your speedometer thinks you are because the pickups are triggered more times per mile than with a 21 inch front tire.
Yep. My trailtech computer needs an entirely different number / setting for the 17" wheels. I bet your off a good 20 mph. Glad you love it.
Nope sorry guys the speed is real, I already recalibrated the speedo and verified with a gps time vs. distance calculation.
Interesting. I had to gear mine way up to get my top speed back. The smaller dia should for sure make it slower.
