    runs in 700 meters?

basically if you want more power you either go for a big bore kit which is more cc

or add an aftermarket pipe and adjust the carb jetting if needed to suit.

You want to have more torque?

There is only one way to achieve that (bump up the CC in the barrel)

this would require a pipe change and to finish it (not necessary though) a lectron carb

165 kit is out there and it is the real deal.

Scrap the 125 buy a bigger bike.
You could add flywheel weight but im not sure how well it would work on 125,
Fmf gnarly again dont know if they do one for your year.
A longer silencer could also be employed, the lectron is a very good carb but other than helping mpg and delivering consistent power may not bring the big hit you require.

Can you source another engine a 250?

You could gear it down. 12/52 or so. This will help you rev it up in shorter distance so you can possibly access the meat of the 125cc power. It would not add "torque" or power rather it would allow you to get to higher RPMs in shorter distance. Crisp clean jetting makes huge difference too. JD Jet Kit works great.

Lectron carb is suitable for a WR 125 from every year.

the kit can be installed by yourself as long you are basic technical (advanced not necessary) and follow the instructions given in another few treads on this site how to do i.

Power valves have to be adapted and would need to be send in combination with the cylinder to Walt or you buy a extra pair new (its not breaking the bank when you obtain them from the USA).

there are several pipe options possible for the 165 kit and it depends whet kind of behavior you wish for the choice of pipe
as you looking for more torque a FMF fatty special developed for this kit is probably the best choice.

the result will be a nimble light handling 125 bike yet its not down shifting 2 gears anymore but only 1 in the same situations

playing in mud and loose sand is not abusing the clutch territory anymore , its just plowing through (the bike will never match a 450 four stroke out put but you will be supriced how easy it takes up the challenge)

Lug ability will improve drastically and the bike is able to crawl up hills that makes my 450 stall or work the clutch considerably

the power is in a extremely usable range and delivery is not peaky.

resulting in less fatigue and more riding hours with a smile.

the lectron makes it more economical to run, smooth in delivery and you don't have to fiddle with the carb anymore when it is dialed in (biggest advantage in my opinion)

Id say don't give up on it
the 08 wr 125 I just sold was running so much better than my boggy 06 wr125 and the 08 was when I first got it .
My 08 had a new 2012 top end and a fatty and it went fantastic - no bog
380 main jet 27.5 pilot . Standard needle and slide
what jetting is in the bike ?
how old is the piston and rings - a new piston and rings may help a lot
Can also try getting head modified to lift compression
Also can use 52 rear sprocket to help on hills
Also can adjust power valve but I think it should run fine at standard setting

Lectron is good but a fairly expensive fix - if there are issues with motor it will not fix them
