Does the plug cap have a resistor?

I'm trying to track down a stutter in acceleration. Since it uses a resistor plug I would think that the cap shouldn't have any resistance. I get 5 ohm at 20k setting.

Can anyone help? By providing a spec or measuring theirs?

    Thanks

You mean 5K ohm correct? Sounds like a 5 K ohm cap. Most caps are resistor caps in addition to resistance of the "R" series plugs.

    OK, cool. Thanks.
I guess I'll have to keep digging.
