I think the brake line tabs are a little different... these look like they fit my TM.

I've been searching for two days. Been to three local shops. Called the dealer I bought the bike from. No one has Husky parts. My dealer kind of snickered when I said I was looking for Husky parts. Really? It's that hard to believe we need parts? Ridiculous.

I think I'm going to try to make some from PVC pipe. Is this is a sign of things to come?

Forgot to mention that. I'm trying to get them by this weekend and the window is closing for mail-order. Maybe if someone had these on Monday when I started looking I could have gone that route. But, I have a ride with a buddy of mine, this weekend, that I've been trying to get back on the bike for a long time.

I contacted Bill's they said they could get them but weren't sure when. I contacted Hall's, no reply. I looked at KTM-parts website, and their part number lookup referred me to Hall's. I looked at husky-parts website and that went nowhere.

But that's okay. My local Honda dealer (five minutes from my office) had a set of Acerbis for a CRF in stock. They look like the should fit okay, so I bought those.

For what it's worth Bill's will be my go to in the future for the TE. They have great customer service. And they are supporting the brand with their own accessories now.

NOTE: I should note, here, that Hall's did eventually reply, and said they have the items in stock. If I wasn't in a hurry I would have bought from them.

It's really sad that even though the forks are KYB, for Husky, the bolt pattern for the fork guard is different. Within 10 minutes of my office, I have four different motorcycle dealers: KTM/Husaberg, BMW, Yamaha/Kawasaki and Honda. All of them had fork guards for their respective brands hanging on their wall displays. I believe, with the exception of BMW, at least three or four of these brands have used KYB forks on some of their models. You would think that you could walk into any of them and get this part.

For reference the Acerbis made for:
    • MY 04-07 Honda CR 125/250
    • MY 04-13 CRF 250/250X
    • MY 04-12 CRF 450
Fit the TE 511 with KYB forks.

Do these wrap around the back like the KTM? I have scratched my stanchion already and probably wouldn't have with the extra coverage...Thanks!

Pretty much standard coverage in the back. I think certain KTM ones will fit this bike. But the KTMs require fork removal to install. There is another brand, apparently, that does wrap around the back, and has a latch in back that allows easier install. It might be the Polisports. You'll just have to order the ones for the honda. Here's the Acerbis from the back:

The Acerbis are cheap, like $30, IIRC. I just used thick zip ties for the cables. They are not set up for a clamp for the cables.

From my notes, copy/pasted from here and elsewhere:
Honda solid white, 09 CR250F fork protectors, but you have to get the Honda
    brake clamp/bolts
I want some white ones and looked up honda OEM but they were way overpriced. Now looking at the Acerbis option and more, we'll see and post the results.

Just got some Acerbis. $31.95. Zip tied the brake line for now. Should be good to go

Thanks! So there's some kind of tab or eye to tie to? Can't tell from the photos....

edit: okay, now I see it. I'm ordering the Polisport version, sound like they wrap around more.

Can you attach speedo cable in clamp too? Post up a photo if you have any boys curious to see. White looks cool

I used some thick zip ties. Still there 1.5 years later. BTW, I bought the Acerbis because the stock polisport guards turned to glass when cold. It just took a slow speed tip-over to shatter like a window pane.
