I don't know, we'll see how that 701, 61/30 replacement will look like....
Hell, an 990 SMT Husky version will be very hard to say no to...

I'll be selling or trading my '12 Husaberg 2T and getting a '14 Husky TE250 2T. PDS works, but linkage is better. The guy who helped me dial my PDS in, just admitted it! I love the infinite adjustability of the KTM based 250/300 2T engine.... KDX200:) to near 250SX:eek: performance within minutes!

I'm not opposed to owning one, but I'm not gonna shell out $8k for the same old 2 stroke technology that my current Husky provides at half the cost. Luckily, my 09' is still pretty fresh and I've got a brand new 14' waiting in the wings, so I'm good on bikes for quite a few years.

I think I'll wait and see what the next year offerings are, not just what models are available but what the prices on those models end up being.

No. Pending test rides on the new Sherco 250 & 300 2T. I love the husky X lite platform and the Shercos sound like they share similar handling traits. It will be Sherco vs husky fc350 / Te250. Whichever I like better which may just be French.

Unfortunately no, they will be priced out of my range. I will just find a reasonably priced used Italian built husky and ride it.

Nope. Too expensive and they don't have an identity yet. Once the dust settles, I will see what flows out of Austria and reconsider then.

Like to have one but they discounted the left over Italian ones. Made my value sink like a tank, from $7300 to $4500 overnight , so will wait till dust settles for maybe a 15/16.

Not going to buy a bike just because it says Husky on the the side of it. If Beta keeps building bikes like the one I have, I see no reason to buy a KTM.

Geeez Norm, pay attention, i have been telling you this for years :D There is a reason every MX bike and almost every bike right down to kids bikes have a linkage. Yes a PDS can be made to work, thats a given but the linkage bikes work better and with a lot less fine tuning / concessions.

They will have the ktm wide ratio. The xc was semi wide and when they went 5 to 6 speed the ratio's became a lot closer to each other.

I'm the flip side this argument.... Beta has a long relationship with KTM and the bike is very influenced by this. KTM models are the target motorcycle for Beta, not Italian Husqvarnas. The only similarity is... they are both red and white and both built in Italy.

I rode a 300RR and it is a very nice bike, but it felt very KTM like to me. It did not handle or feel like an Italian Husky in any way. I could get used to it, but I'd be doing the same mods I did to my Husaberg, to get it to handle more like my '09 WR125. So for me, I'll go with the White Husky, because it's a Husky in my eyes, even if Thomas Gustavsson only gets a minor role.....

I'd like a 250F. Not too fussed if it is a Husky or KTM or whatever.
Missed a deal on a Husaberg a few weeks ago.
