Let's see what Husky riders take to the streets. Here's my 2002 Moto Guzzi V11 Sport Scura. Scura means "dark" in Italian. I use the same username over at v11LeMans.com - a forum dedicated to these rare and wonderful machines. Location: S2, North of I-8 (where there is also lots of desert dual-sport riding for the Husky).
heres my 99 kawasaki zrx 1100 full muzzy system, rear fender eliminator, billet KWICK throttle tube, KWICK +4 ignition advancer, pods, factory pro jetting, engine tipover kill switch, currently running a sargent seat.
Here are mine 2010 Triumph Thunderbird 1700. 2007 Ducati Monster S2R 1000 (I need to find a better pic) 2001 Triumph Sprint ST My Husky TE630 and my FE & FS570 Husaberg's are licensed for the street, but they didn't seem appropriate for this thread.
The busa. According the the map , this is an official road in WV. while we were waiting to cross, two trucks crossed and a fwd car. Only in west virginia.hehee
One new addition to the street side as touring on the Sport is not happening. A '15 Standard Touring MTS w/latest mapping. Going to see some touring miles but honestly this is much easier to ride fast than my Sport and great for creeping up slow mountain pass roads too. What to ride today
Halfway up the page is another. Has Ohlins 30mm inserts in the stock sliders... Mate up nicely with the tooling on the steerer but most of all, made an incredible change to the comfort and handling... OZ Wheels replaced stock and rear stock shock was rebuilt using an Eibach spring a few years ago... A few simple black covers from Speedy Moto blacked out the engine as I wanted. Basically is an homage to what I really liked and tried to emulate from the late 70's (but back then I could not afford a Duc and so was Honda and Kaw). Why no serious tail chop, ton of bling, etc...
Working on a wr250f super moto had a dropped valve so full engine rebuild as PO kept the throttle on!
The 1993 bike is a picture from 2008 and the 2014 bike picture is about a year ago. Both of them are fuel injected and both have a portion of the frame that is removable to take the engine out should that become necessary. Must have been necessary to put the engine in.
Just crossed into Utah on I 70 after passing through the Rockies after leaving Denver that morning last August. Froze our buns through Aspen, then back to the warm desert. Here's the trip meter from KY to CA.
