here is the cheapest one I made and it probably is the most important for engine longivity to keep the breather hose from backing out and having dirt air enter the engine. this one made the most difference off road.. total transformation for sand/mud
I don't know if it's because mine is an older model or what, but my airbox hose hasn't moved since the day I got the bike. I tried to pull it out and it's in there pretty tight. I just left it alone.
Folding mirrors from Moto-Science. Folding elbow adjusts from about 9am to 2pm and can be adjusted on the move or locked down. Stem length is adjustable from 225-325mm. So far, I am really pleased with these mirrors. Great visibility, they stay put on the road and fold easily with no tools. I got the 10mm perch mount version which screw right in to the stock 630 perch. Bike pic from moto-science website.
Yeah...I pulled my air cover off yesterday planning to work on that fix. The thing is clamped in there pretty tight. Can't see how it would come loose.
Muffler sliders on my Leo to act as a heat shield for my Giant Loop. Prettier and less abrasive than the GL heat shield.
I love those. They are next on my list. How is the vibration? The stock mirrors are almost useless due to the vibes...

I like the HDB stuff (I use their top clamp), but the mirrors were useless on my last bike and that was a hell of a lot smoother than this one.
Vibration has been non-noticeable but I am still in the break-in period so revs are mostly less than 5K. The plastic elbow probably reduces the vibes enough at higher rpm. Also, wind not a problem so far. I replaced the stockers because I could not see properly in normal riding position - stems were way to short for me. I thought I would need to fully extend these to get proper visibility, but as it turns out, I wound up using about 2/3 of the available stem length.
LV full TI exhaust system on the SM630. I put in the db killer to make the neighbors happy and it is much quieter then the FMF was. I can tell it lost a bit of power but I can live without it. It took around 45 minutes to install - really easy. The only problem I had was getting the bolt that goes through the subframe in. I actually cut down the passenger peg mount 3/8" to make the bolt long enough to thread into the hole. It might not be an issue on other bikes but I have wrecked the bike which tweaked the subframe enough to make it hard to get lined up.
