Did a real cool ride Saturday. Nice variety of stuff and very cool trails. Mt hood Sweet virgin trails yes, the trail is right there... some open areas... Fun stuff Let's see your weekend ride pix...
ur killin me!!! there green and grabby,,, here brown dry and dusty,,sandy and loose,,,,, ps the s12s work really well down here. was not happy with the 403(fat)/404 combo. Conclusion is that the HVA likes those skinny knife like front tires, it is designed around them. Beautiful photos!!!
This seems like an old thread, but I had a great time this weekend riding Alcalde in Northern NM. Tough lady Lori working her way up one of the many hill climbs covered with baby heads. Mission accomplished. Many Grand Vistas! Dave, Lori's husband giving her a helping hand. Random Husky/Trail Shot! Baby Heads! Truchas Peaks and Fall colors, made for a beautiful day of flogging!
Yep, thread #23. One of the oldest on the site. Proof once again good things come to those that wait.
I had such a good time riding yesterday that I inexplicably wanted to share a photo... I was going to start a new thread, but this one seemed more appropriate.
I don't hate them, but i no longer use them (I have one as a spare), I ride the tires that everyone seems to hate, FIM enduro comp rubber Pirelli Scorpion FIM comp 90/90-21 12psi and 140/80-18 10psi with hd tubes, they are like trials tires on rocks and are floating balloons on soft sandy stuff, plus when the thinner MX knobs dig trenches they are fat and floaty enough to grab traction on the walls of the trench. Did i digress from this 2yo topic??????oh yea send fotos!!
I've found they do OK as long as it's not too deep. Maybe you're doing it wrong If there's frozen ground or ice under a light layer of snow you will be King Of The Trail on that tire (nice to see you here ) WoodsChick
