POWER UP PLUG

    Ok so just getting round to doing something about the lack of power, I just got mah wee resistor plug thing, everyone says thats the first thing to do so here I am... Can anyone tell me what needs to come off to fit this, ah dont want to start takin it apart if theres a simple way to get to it... Cheers...

    You need to remove the tank. Then follow the wire from the o2 sensor, unplug it and plug in the part you have. If you got the parts from Husqy the you will have a bung plug for the hole in mid pipe where the o2 was. After all that, you can remove the canister and hoses. I'd look for a DIY thread on hear to make sure you do everything right.

    Don´t trouble yourself if you can´t find the "canister & hoses". There not part of the package in civilized countries.

    I installed the husqvarna power up kit on a 610 by removing the bolt holding down the gas tank, jacking up the back of the tank about an inch and a half with a small prop (a spanner), and then reaching in on the left hand side of the bike with a small pair of needle pliers to disconnect the O2 sensor. Had to squint a bit, but it wasn't too hard, took about 15 minutes total. I don't like fussing with petcocks and fuel if I can avoid it!
